I suppose it's impossible to truly describe the magnitude of these past 6 weeks. Packing my room, walking around campus taking an emotional/photographic catalogue, BUTI's "spell" seemed impossible to break. After being constrained for a long period of time - by both geography and focus - it seemed impossible to return to Branchburg, to "real" life, to summer. Yet here I am. 6 weeks of 9 hour rehearsal days, "minority whip", H. Bob, ultimate 6 square, slumber parties, Seiji Ozawa, the Koussevitsky shed, Die Bankelsangerlieder, Chanticleer, Scott Hartman, awesome people like Brett and Kevin, my trombone, old friends, new friends and, of course, CHARLIE SCHLUETER. I can't really think of anything more to say.
